Applications are invited for the following posts on regular or contract basis:
Assistant Registrar: 04 Posts
Qualifications: Masters degree with at least 55% of the marks, or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC seven point scale along with good academic record.
Superintendent: 05 Posts
Qualifications: i). Masters degree with 55% marks and above. ii). Minimum of 5 years relevant experience of supervisory post in grade Pay of Rs.4200/- or equivalent in government Dept. / autonomous body / private sector organisation of repute in one or more of the following areas: accounting, auditing, financial procedures, administrative matters including Establishment, Academic matters such as conduct of examinations, maintenance of student records, estate management, materials management, import procedure and hospital administration. iii). should have computer literacy and experience of working in a computer environment.
Technical Superintendent: 05 Posts
Qualifications: i). M.Sc. in appropriate field / B.Tech. / BE or B.Sc. in appropriate field Or diploma in engineering in appropriate field from respective state board with 5 years relevant experience of supervisory post in the pay band-2 with grade pay of Rs. 4200/- or equivalent in government Dept. / autonomous body / private sector organisation of repute. ii). should have computer literacy and experience of working in a computer environment.
Fee: Applications should be accompanied with a non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- for the post at Sl.No.1 and Rs.250/- for the posts at Sl. Nos.2 & 3 drawn in favour of “The Registrar, IIT Kanpur” payable at Kanpur. SC/ST and Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
