Admissions 2013
The National Law University, Jodhapur offers registration for advanced research
and Ph.D. Program. Interested candidates may apply to the University in the
prescribed form.
1.Name of the Course : Integrated Ph. D. program
Minimum duration : 4 years.
Eligibility: Graduation with an Honours degree in the concerned discipline or subject having at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade.
2.Name of the Course : Ph. D. Program
Minimum duration : 2 years.
Eligibility: Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject or discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

Law: Intellectual Property Law, Human Rights, Corporate Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, Administrative law, Family Law, Trade Law, Criminal Law, Taxation Law and Health Law.
Science: Chemistry, Physics and Life Sciences.
Policy Sciences: Economics, Psychology, Philosophy, History and English Literature.
Management: Banking, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Quantitative Techniques.
Fee : Demand draft of Rs.2500/- (Rs. Two thousand five hundred only) payable to the Registrar, National Law University, Jodhpur, payable at Jodhpur
Selection : The admission will be through an entrance test and a personal interview.
Entrance Test : The entrance test will seek to judge the abilities of the candidates in the fields of language, numerical analysis, research aptitude, logical reasoning and the subject knowledge. The subject-specific questions will be short-answer type and for the rest, there will be multiple-choice questions. Candidate short-listed on the basis of entrance test will be called for a personal interview.

Instructions to candidates
1.
Every candidate should read the accompanying notification carefully and
understand the eligibility criteria for appearing in the admission test.
2.The
candidates shall fill all the five parts of the application form as well as the
Admit Card (barring the roll number) with complete details correctly and
legibly. The candidates are required to attach self-attested copies of the mark
sheet(s) of the qualifying examination and other supporting documents.
3.An
application fee of Rs.2500/- (Rs. Two thousand five hundred only) in the form
of a demand draft payable to the Registrar, National Law University, Jodhpur,
at Jodhpur should be enclosed with the application form.
4.The
candidates shall send the filled in application form with the enclosures so as
to reach the Registrar, National Law University, NH-65, Nagaur Road, Mandore,
Jodhpur-342304 Rajasthan, on or before June 28, 2013.
Applications
received after the last date will be rejected. The University will not be
responsible for any delay in transit. The envelope containing the application
form must be super scribed as FOR Ph. D. ADMISSION 2013.
5.Each
candidate shall write an extended summary of the intended research, giving its
significance and methodology on an additional sheet.
6.Candidates
short-listed on the basis of the entrance test will be called for the
interview.
7.Admission
will be subject to availability of vacancy and facilities in the area of
research chosen by the candidate.
