Applications are invited for the following teaching and non-teaching staff:
1. Professor (Director) / Reader (Associate Professor): 01 Post
Professor (Director):
Qualifications: An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the concerned disciplines i.e. Humanities / Social Sciences / Legal Studies and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research / policy papers. Or an outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field i.e. Women Studies, who has made significant contribution to knowledge.
Reader (Associate Professor):
Qualifications: i). Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned disciplines i.e. Humanities / Social Sciences / Legal studies. ii). 55% of the marks, or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed at the Masters degree level. iii). Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. v). A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the new Regulations dated 30.06.2010.
2. Lecturer (Assistant Professor): 01 Post
Qualifications: i). Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in a relevant subject Humanities / Social Sciences / Legal Studies from an Indian university, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. ii). Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET. iii). NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for such Masters Programmes in disciplines for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted.
3. Research Associate: 01 Post
Qualifications: A candidate who has Doctoral degree in Humanities / Social Sciences / Legal Studies and published research work to his / her credit in the related field. Preference will be given to the candidates those who published research work in the field of Women Studies.
Non-Teaching Posts:
1. Research Assistant: 01 Post
Qualifications: Masters degree in the disciplines of Humanities / Social Sciences / Legal Studies with research experience in the areas related to women studies.
2. Professional Assistant: 01 Post
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in library and information Science with experience in documentation and knowledge of computer applications.
3. Data Entry Operator: 01 Post
Qualifications: Any degree with PG diploma in computer applications, knowledge of Tally or SPSS is preferable.
4. Attendant: 01 Post
Qualifications: 10th Standard. Preference will be given for candidates with higher qualifications.
Registration Fee (nonrefundable): Rs.250/- for teaching post and Rs.100/- for non teaching post (for general) and for SC/ST candidates Rs.50/- for teaching post and Rs. 25/- for non teaching post.
