Applications are invited for the selection of Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961, for the following trades:
Fitter:
Electrician:
Fitter-Structural:
Pipe Fitter:
Qualifications: The candidate should have passed SSC in first attempt with general science & mathematics. i). Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /AFC / PH. ii). Pass Class for SC/ST. iii). In case of passing criteria is best of 5 subjects taken, General Science & Mathematics should be the part of the qualifying board curriculum & candidate should have passed in first attempt, otherwise application will be rejected. Though the qualifying criteria is SSC the candidates with "higher qualification may also apply". However, eligibility will be based on SSC marks qualification only.
Fitter-Structural
Qualifications: The candidates should have passed ITI in first attempt in the trade of fitter from Government /Govt. recognised institute. i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /AFC /PH. ii) Pass Class for SC/ST.
Painter (General):
Qualifications: The candidates should have Passed ITI in first attempt in the trade of Painter (Gen) from Government /Govt. recognised institute. i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /AFC / PH. ii) Pass Class for SC/ST.
Carpenter:
Qualifications: The candidates should have Passed ITI in first attempt in the trade of Carpenter from Government / government recognised institute. i) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /AFC / PH. ii) Pass Class for SC/ST.
Electronic Mechanic:
Qualifications: The candidates should have Passed ITI in FIRST ATTEMPT in the trade of Electronic Mechanic from Government/government recognised institute. i). Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /AFC / PH. ii). Pass class for SC/ST Group (C) 8th Class Passed.
Rigger:
Welder (G&E):
Qualifications: The candidate should have Passed 8th Class examination under (10+2) system in First Attempt. i). securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC /AFC / PH. ii). Pass Class for SC/ST.
Application Fee: DD of Rs. 50/- in favour of Mazagon Dock Ltd., payable at Mumbai.
How to Apply: The completed application in the prescribed format along with all relevant documents and DD should reach the Dy. General Manager (A.T.S), Apprentice Training School, Gate No.9, Alcock Yard, Mazagon Dockyard Road, Mumbai- 400010.
