Applications are invited for the following posts:
Lecturer in Education: 01 Post
Qualifications: Masters degree from recognised university with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed. Special Education (V.I.) with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7-points scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognised by RCI.
PGT (History): 01 Post
PGT (Music): 01 Post
Qualifications: i). Two years integrated Postgraduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject; Or Masters degree in relevant subject from a recognised university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. ii). B.Ed. Special education (V.I.) Or B.Ed. (General) with Diploma in Special Education (Visual Impairment). iii). Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium.
Trained Graduate Teacher (English): 01 Post
Trained Graduate Teacher (Science): 01 Post
Qualifications: a). Second class Bachelors degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject and in aggregate including elective and language in the combination of subject as under: i). For TGT (English) – English as an elective subject at degree level. ii). For TGT (Science) – Math’s, Physics and Cheministry at degree Level. b). Four years integrated course in special education for Visual Impairment from a recognised university or equivalent with 50% marks in the concerned subject. Or Diploma in Teaching the Visually Impaired (Secondary Level) or B.Ed. Special Education (Visual Impairment). c). Proficiency in Bharati and Standard English Braille Grade II.
Primary Teacher: 02 Posts
Qualifications: i). Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent pass from a recognised board / university with at least 50% marks in the 12th standard. ii). Diploma in Teaching the Visually Impaired, Primary or Secondary Level or B.Ed. (Special Education) (Visual impairment). iii). Proficiency in Bharati and Standard English Braille Gd. -II.
Fee: DD of Rs. 100/- for SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates and Rs. 200/- for all others drawn in favour of the Director, NIVH, payable at Dehradun. Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from above fee.
